Even though we had another day on our passes to enjoy the mountain area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, everyone wanted to move onto the next location. This is just human nature isn’t it? You can spend a day having fun, but we’d all prefer to just get the day’s driving over with. So we left!
We stopped in Innsbruck to speak with an Avis representative since our rental car kept alerting that our AdBlue was low. This was an absolute error because we had filled it repeatedly. We even had the Avis guy in Innsbruck fill it and he couldn’t make the error go away. Despite if the error was true or not, we didn’t want to wait to see if it still crippled our vehicle just thinking it was out of AdBlue. His advise was to take it to the Munich Airport to replace the vehicle. He couldn’t because he didn’t have a 7-seat vehicle in inventory. So, further onto our destination we went!
There was no problem finding our hotel, and after parking and unloading we were determined to get food. So we loaded the stroller for a walk in our neighboring tourist attraction, the English Garten.
Greg thought it was interesting that I wanted to go to a German biergarten located at the Chinese Tower, and it then made sense once we arrived after just a few minutes walk from the hotel. It had a spielplatz we put to use, then returned to the hotel to relax and get the kids into the hotel pool. It wasn’t very big, but it had other American kids there playing in it that made my kids look more well behaved. So much of a win to end our first day in Germany!
