This is a day late, but I posted about yesterday on Instagram so this is just a blog follow-up if you will.
Yesterday morning was another late start. Somehow Perla managed to sleep in until noon which NEVER happens. Trent was the early bird and we took Diane down to get breakfast when she started fussing. I knew my day was going to be fuzzy since I had woken up at 2am and never fell back to sleep. Luckily when Greg got up, he took the kids to a local pub called Duke of Sussex. I was able to nap and get some rest for a 4:30pm run at the Peloton Studios London. It has just opened, and they have live studio classes every Friday…just as I happen to be in town! It was a German run class taught by Marcel, which happened to be his first live studio recording since he had become a Peloton instructor.
After the run I was scheduled for a cycling class, however there was a global outage of Peloton services that delayed everything after my run. It was a good call to leave since it was so nice out, and I had the opportunity to get some Jollibee from Leicester Square! After getting some (and what seems to be endless) fried food, I brought it back to the family at the hotel to then turn around and hit a couple of spots. Diane was super tired and cranky, and Trent was DONE for the day. I can’t blame him since he’s my sleeper!
Greg and I finished off the remaining Jollibee and had some drinks in the hotel lobby while Perla munched on her second set of chicken nuggets for the day.
